PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure of pilot Y-type globe valve that reduces pressure loss. SOLUTION: A conventional pilot Y-type globe valve of a flow-to-close system in an open position causes a dead water region near the bottom of its main valve element and hinders pressure recovery about the dead water region, which leads to increased valve pressure loss. The pilot Y-type globe valve proposed has holes 17 passing the side of a main valve element 2 into the hollow thereof. The through holes 17 lead fluid upstream of the valve into the main valve element 2 from which it is guided downstream by a pilot hole 9 passing the bottom of the main valve element 2 into the hollow thereof, which reduces the dead water region and thus the valve pressure loss.
