The present invention relates to a polyester resin composition and to a polyester film using the same. More particularly, the present invention relates to a polyester resin composition and to a polyester film using the same, wherein the polyester resin composition comprises a polyester resin and silica particles coated with a metal compound, thus preventing internal defects caused by particle agglomeration, achieving improved properties for a film surface, reducing haze, and improving transparency, and therefore enabling the polyester resin composition to be suitably used as an optical film and as a base film for an electronic material. |
