<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a substrate for mounting a light-emitting element, which can prevent deformation of the substrate and corrosion of a reflection layer, and is excellent in long-term reliability; and to provide a light-emitting device using this substrate. <P>SOLUTION: The substrate has a substrate body having a mounting surface on which a light-emitting element is mounted, a reflection layer which is formed on a part of the mounting surface of the substrate body and contains silver, and an insulating layer formed on the reflection layer. The insulating layer is glass quality, and is formed of a glass containing by mole percent on the oxide basis, 65-84% SiO<SB>2</SB>, 1-10% Al<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>, 0-20% B<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>, 0-15% MgO+CaO+SrO+BaO and 4-20% Li<SB>2</SB>O+Na<SB>2</SB>O+K<SB>2</SB>O. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
