PURPOSE: A process of preparing the titled thermoplastic resin having flame retardancy without containing a halogen compound generating environmental pollution during processing or burning of resin by using an SAN or ABS copolymer as a kind of a compatibilizing agent without using phenol resin is provided, which produces thermoplastic resin having excellent mechanical physical properties, thermal stability, heat resistance and flame retardancy. CONSTITUTION: The thermoplastic resin comprises (A) 40 to 95 parts by weight of rubber modified styrene resin comprising (a1) 20 to 100% by weight of styrene-containing graft copolymer resin having an acylonitrile content of 18 to 50% by weight and (a2) 0 to 80% by weight of styrene-containing copolymer resin having an acylonitrile content of 18 to 50% by weight; (B) 5 to 60 parts by weight of polyphenyleneether resin; (C) 2 to 40 parts by weight of styrene-containing copolymer resin or graft copolymer resin having an acylonitrile content of 18 to 50% by weight except a rubber component, in which optionally 60 parts by weight of a rubber component can be applied, based on 100 parts by weight of the (A) + (B); (D) 2 to 30 parts by weight of a phosphagene compound of formula 1 based on 100 parts by weight of the (A) + (B); and 0 to 20 parts by weight of an aromatic phosphorous acid compound. In formula, R1, R2, R3, R4, R5 and R6 are each independently a compound without containing halogen, preferably alcohol derivatives such as amines, phenol, p-aminophenol, ethylalcohol, propylalcohol; R7 and R8 are each independently phenol, methylphenol, xylenol and methyl alcohol; n is 2 to 10. |
