<p>Methods of treating multiple sclerosis in a subject, including: reducing the frequency of relapse, reducing the annualized relapse rate, reducing the risk of disability progression, reducing the number of new or newly enlarging T2 lesions, reducing the number of gadolinium lesions; and methods of preserving/increasing myelin content in a subject having multiple sclerosis; by daily administering a composition containing a fumarate, such as dimethyl fumarate or monomethyl fumarate, to the subject.</p> |
