The present invention relates to a sludge transferring pump and, more specifically, to a sludge transferring pump which includes a shaft which is a rotator joined to a driving source with a coupling and formed to be freely rotated inside a body including an inlet and an outlet for sludge, an impeller transferring sludge by a centrifugal force on the front end of the shaft, and a mechanical seal unit for preventing the inflow of sludge between a rear shaft of the impeller and the body; and which prevents sludge from flowing into the mechanical seal unit by forming a transferring passage from the inlet and outlet for sludge on the shaft which is joined to the mechanical unit and where back pressure is not generated. The inlet and the outlet are formed on the front and rear sides of the impeller to prevent the back pressure to the shaft joined to the mechanical seal unit caused by the pressure of the inside of the body generated by transferring sludge when the pump is operated. The front end of the shaft is supported on the front end of the body to be freely rotated. |
