摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent deterioration of a fixing property when a recording paper passes through a paper non-passing section of a ceramic heater. <P>SOLUTION: Heating resistors 12, 13 are formed parallel to the longitudinal direction of an elongated ceramic base board 11. Electrodes 14, 15 for current conduction are connected with one side ends of the heating resistors 12, 13 respectively, and a connection conductor 16 is connected with the other side ends of the heating resistors 12, 13 respectively, and the heating resistors 12, 13 are connected with each other in series. End heating resistors 121, 122 formed at both ends of the heating resistor 12 by gradually widen widths as getting away from the heating resistor 12 are respectively formed on both ends of the heating resistor 12. End heating resistors 131, 132 formed at both ends of the heating resistor 13 by gradually widen widths as getting away from the heating resistor 13 are respectively formed on both ends of the heating resistor 13. The heating resistors, the end heating resistors, and the connection conductor excluding the electrodes 14, 15 are covered with an overcoat layer 17 in order to give electrical, mechanical, and chemical protection. When the recoding paper passes through the end heating resistors 121, 122, 131 and 132, temperature at an insulating base plate end zone is gradually reduced at a gently-sloped state from the center zone of the ceramic heater by the end heating resistor. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p>
