PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information providing device capable of properly transmitting information based on a traveling state of one's own vehicle as a tactual stimulus to a user. SOLUTION: This information providing device provides information according to the traveling state of one's own vehicle 1 as the tactual stimulus to the user. The information providing device includes a traveling state detection means for detecting the traveling state of one's own vehicle 1, a controlled variable calculation means for calculating controlled variable set according to the traveling state of one's own vehicle 1 detected by the traveling state detection means and used for controlling the tactual stimulus to be transmitted to the user, an information transmission means for transmitting the tactual stimulus according to the controlled variable calculated by the controlled variable calculation means to the user, and a reduction amount calculation means for calculating reduction amount to reduce the controlled variable corresponding to the present traveling state when it is judged that the traveling state of one's own vehicle 1 detected by the traveling state detection means is not changed for a fixed period. The controlled variable calculation means corrects the controlled variable set according to the traveling state based on the reduction amount calculated from the present traveling state.
