PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tiltable attachment for a coating truck wherein there is no need to prepare different kinds of attachments for different kinds of trucks, and the body of the truck can be firmly supported at the position with high strength so as to be neither damaged nor deformed. SOLUTION: The tiltable attachment 1a is formed from an attachment body 40 erected on a coating truck and an inclinable part 50 pivotally supported on the forward end of the body 40. If a side member SMb of a car, which does not use the attachment 1a, is lowered, the member SMb comes into contact with a contact point 58 of the inclinable part 50 located at the initial position as shown by a dotted and broken line so that the part 50 is turned clockwise about a connection axis 51 by the side member SMb, as shown by the figure, and displaced to a retracted position as shown by a solid line. Thus, an excessive forces are not exerted on the member SMb and hence it is not injured or deformed.
