A time measuring apparatus includes window generation means for delaying the reception signal of one symbol to correlate the guard intervals before and after delaying with each other, generating an OFDM symbol timing signal based on its correlation result and generating a fast Fourier transformation (FFT) window signal necessary to FFT-process the reception signal based on the generated OFDM symbol timing signal, FFT means for FFT-processing the reception signal based on the FFT window signal, time information acquiring means for acquiring reference time information at FFT window signal generation, carrier symbol extraction means for extracting the reference carrier symbol signal from an output of the FFT means, measuring means for measuring a time difference between an OFDM symbol signal with the reference carrier symbol signal extracted at the carrier symbol extraction means belonged thereto and the FFT window signal, and computing means for computing the reception time based on the reference time information acquired at the time information acquiring means and the time difference measured by the measuring means. |
