PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically conduct changeover operation of the projection height of a projecting part of an outer electrode terminal of a car plug A, corresponding to sockets 1, 1' having different inner diameters by the inserting operation of the car plug A into the socket 1. SOLUTION: A projecting part 50 of an outer electrode terminal 5, made of a conductive metallic material band plate z having spring action and to be assembled in a body 2, is formed so that the base end part of the projecting part 50 is continued to a base end side 5b of the band plate z, the tip part of the projecting part 50 forms a free end part 51 moving freely toward the center side within a body 2, a support surface (a) for supporting the free end part 51 by being abutted is installed in the position opposite to the free end part 51, and a support surface b one step lower than the support surface (a) is installed at the position supporting the free end part 51 slipping out of the support surface (a) as a result, that the projecting part 50 is pushed strongly in the radial direction of the body 2 by the inner wall surface of a socket, when the body 2 is inserted into the socket of a slightly slender cigarette lighter.
