The invention provides an interleaver configured to interleave a frame of code symbols to produce a sequence of interleaved symbols having a first predetermined number of symbols. A repeater is configured to repeat the sequence of interleaved symbols a number of times and to repeat a subset of the sequence of interleaved symbols, wherein the subset has a second predetermined number of symbols, and wherein the second predetermined number of symbols is less than the first predetermined number of symbols. |
