PURPOSE: A compressor is provided to maintain a high compression performance by preventing the leakage of refrigerant between an outlet room and an inlet room through the sealing of ring and valve assembly. CONSTITUTION: A compressor comprises a cylinder block(110), a rear housing(150), a valve assembly(170) and a leak preventing unit. A plurality of cylinder bores(112) is circularly arranged in the cylinder block. The rear housing is coupled in the rear of the cylinder block and comprises an inlet(152) and an outlet room(154) divided in the section of the cylinder bore with a partition wall(155). The valve assembly is allowed between the rear housing and cylinder block and transfers the refrigerant based on the pressure difference between the inlet room, outlet room and the cylinder bore. The leak preventing unit is installed between the valve assembly and partition wall and the leakage of the refrigerant at the inlet room and outlet room is prevented. |
