The present invention relates to a portfolio map service device and method for analyzing portfolio composition for items included in the account of the investor and composing a new portfolio, in the transaction of a financial product such as online stocks and derivatives. The method comprises the steps of: allowing the securities company to analyze items and store item analysis information; allowing the securities company to compose and store a plurality of portfolio packages; allowing the investor to request portfolio analysis while opening items included in the account of the investor; allowing the HTS to analyze and estimate the portfolio of items corresponding to the balance of the investor; allowing the HTS to display the analysis results; and allowing the HTS to recommend a new portfolio package. The method enables the investor to identify whether the portfolio of items held by the investor is appropriate through a portfolio map, and select a new proper portfolio to easily replace the items, thereby maximizing investment income based on a stable portfolio.
