摘要 Disclosed is a raw material oil composition for a negative electrode carbon material of a lithium ion secondary battery, which is useful for achieving excellent high-speed charge-discharge properties. Specifically disclosed is a raw material oil composition for a negative electrode carbon material of a lithium ion secondary battery, which contains a bottom oil for a residual oil fluidized catalytic cracker as a raw material. When the raw material oil composition is developed by a thin layer chromatography method to produce a saturated component, an aroma component, a resin component and an asphaltene component, the content of the saturated component is 30 to 50 mass%, the content of the ashaltene component is 10 mass% or less, and the aromatic carbon fraction (fa) is 0.35 to 0.60.
