<p>The present invention relates to a capacitance sensor (2) for detecting an object, especially, for detecting a collision in case of movable auto parts. The sensor (2) has an electrode arrangement (4) including more than one sensor electrode (6). The sensor (2) is connected to a downstream of the sensor electrode (6), and has a testing circuit (8) for processing a reception signal (SR) generated in the sensor electrode (6).
