PURPOSE: An insect proof composition and a method for preventing trees using the same are provided to widely improve convenience for insect proof by applying an applying agent on the bark of trees. CONSTITUTION: An insect proof composition contains: a colloidal coating agent which is coated on the bark of trees; a liquid or powder insecticidal agent; a liquid or powder plant growth regulator which is absorbed to the trees and promotes protoplasmic streaming; and a paint type coating agent which is applied on the trees and contains one or more among liquid or powder repellents. A method for preventing trees comprises: a step of applying the composition on the bark of the trees; a step of curing the composition at room temperature; and a step of wrapping uncoated part of the trees with a roll trap(60).
