PURPOSE: A heat pump water heater is provided to prevent system efficiency from degrading by reducing decline of high pressure and low pressure caused by freezing generated in a pipe of a low pressure side. CONSTITUTION: A heat pump water heater(10) comprises a compressor(12), a heat exchanger(13) of the water heater, an evaporator(15), a first refrigerant pipe, an electric field device, and a second refrigerant pipe. The heat exchanger of the water heater heat-exchanges refrigerant compressed in the compressor to water. The first refrigerant pipe guides the refrigerant passed through the evaporator to flow in the compressor. The second refrigerant pipe delivers heat generated from the electric field device to the first refrigerant pipe. |
