PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cook different foods with once cooking by cooking foods put in an inner pan concurrently with the heating and cooking of foods in a container put on a cooling section of a container body. SOLUTION: The cooking device comprises the container body 1 and a cover 2 to be attached/detached to/from a cover supporting portion 13 of the container body 1. A bottom plate portion 11 of the container body 1 is provided with a cooking section Z1 and a water reserving section Z2 located outside the cooking section Z1. A protruded portion 4 is provided on a barrel plate portion 12 of the container body 1 and the inner pan 6 is put on the protruded portion 4 so that the inner pan 6 can be held in a suspended state. When a water in the water reserving section Z2 is heated, generated steam forms a steam layer along the inner face of the cover 2 at the upper part of the inner pan 6.
