PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide microorganisms (aerobic mesophiles) which can degrade and digest wastes and can thereby be used in wide fields such as microorganism- utilizing environment-related businesses and food-related businesses. SOLUTION: Eight microorganism stains (aerobic mesophiles) capable of degrading benzene, xylene, toluene, proteins, starch, cellulose, oils, residues by-produced by the microorganism treatment of wastes, and the like were obtained and deposited to International Patent Organism Depositary. It has been clarified that vegetables and fruits in garbage, bone shells containing calcium, starch, and root vegetables can be treated with the microorganism.
