According to the present invention for effects above, the cooling system of the air conditioner for a vehicle has the silencer installed on a suction line through which the refrigerant is transferred from an evaporator to the compressor and a discharge line through which the refrigerant is transferred from the compressor to a condenser, and offsetting the pulsation noise and the flow noise in the compressor, wherein the silencer (10) comprises: a first tube (12) has the refrigerant flowing in the same; a second tube (14) surrounding the outer circumference of the first tube (12); a spiral groove (13) having a certain depth and installed on the outer circumference of the first tube (12); a resonance room (16) formed by the spiral groove (13) and a distance between the first tube (12) and the second tube (14); and a resonance hole (18) offsetting the pulsation noise and the flow noise by inducing the refrigerant flowing in the first tube (12) to flowing into the second tube (14).
