The purpose of the present invention is to solve the problem of the supply and demand of the graphite cylinder material of a large size when a heat emitting prevention shield for a convertor is manufactured in a large size and to provide a heat emitting prevention shield for a convertor which is conveniently assembled. Unit plates (100,100-1) includes an internal plate (100a), an external plate (100b) which is formed on the outer side of the internal plate to be overlapped, and a fastening member insertion hole (140) with a constant width and length which is formed towards a lower direction from the upper end to be symmetrical on the basis of middle vertical line (C) at both sides of the external plate (100b). The unit plates (100,100-1) form a cylindrical shield by being sequentially assembled while forming an obtuse angle (θ) along the circumference direction. The unit plates (100,100-1) assembled to be adjacent in the circumference direction are combined by a fastening member (200) formed by bending a first plate part (200a) and a second plate part (200b) while forming an obtuse angle (θ). The first plate part (200a) of the fastening member is inserted into a fastening member insertion groove (140) of the unit plate (100) arranged at one side. The second plate part (200b) of the fastening member (200) is fixed by being inserted into a fastening member insertion groove (140) of the unit plate (100-1) arranged at the other side.
