The invention relates to a household appliance equipped with a regeneration-type drying device (2), wherein an air flow laps the load (S) in the tub, thereby removing the water contained therein and then yielding it as moisture to a hygroscopic material (26). For the purpose of regenerating the latter, an electric resistor (25) or the like is provided; the hygroscopic material (26) and the resistor are housed in a thermally insulated container (24), thus saving energy necessary for the regeneration process. |
