PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain a long-life of a main body of battery set produced with many pieces of control valve type lead-acid batteries connected in series. SOLUTION: In a charging system of main body of battery set, the control valve type lead-acid batteries composing the main body are charged with dividing into more than one block to measure voltages of the batteries placed at the center of each block. Then, when the voltage of the battery placed at the center of either of blocks reaches up to a regulated voltage (2.40 V/cell), the main body is charged up to the 102% of the discharged amount by the regulated voltage.
