Disclosed is an air conditioner for a vehicle, wherein the air conditioner can allow water in a humidifier to be smoothly sprayed using the partial volume of air discharged from the inside of an air conditioning case, optimize the arrangement of the humidifier, and excellently maintain the air conditioning performance thereof. The air conditioner feeding cold air or warm air to the interior of the vehicle comprises: the air conditioning case of which the inlet has an air inlet and the outlet has a defrost vent, a face vent, and a floor vent; a rear floor duct communicating with the floor vent and discharging the air to the rear seat of the vehicle; an assembling hole on the upper side of the rear floor duct; and the humidifier inserted into the assembling hole, communicating with the air flowing inside the rear floor duct, generating the water, and allowing the water to be diffused to the interior of the vehicle by the partial volume of the air in the rear floor duct. Therefore, the water generated in the humidifier is widely diffused to the rear seat of the vehicle and the edge of the interior of the vehicle by the volume of the air discharged from the rear floor duct so that the interior of the vehicle can be entirely and uniformly humidified, and the humidifier can be separated from the assembling hole when the frequency of using the humidifier is low in a season such as summer so that air conditioning is normally performed without the loss of the volume of the air flowing inside the rear floor duct.
