PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scale display apparatus by which the scale of a subject can be displayed more quickly, precisely and easily. SOLUTION: The scale display apparatus is provided with a corresponding- point detection means which detects the corresponding point of a prescribed pixel on the basis of image signals obtained by a plurality of imaging means, a three-dimensional-position calculation means which calculates the three- dimensional position of the corresponding point on the basis of information on the corresponding point obtained by the corresponding-point detection means, a distance calculation means which calculates the distance between prescribed pixels on the basis of information on the calculated three-dimensional position and a scale display means which displays a scale corresponding to the distance between the pixels on the basis of information on the calculated distance. The display means compares a distance in the vertical direction with reference to an imaging place with a predetermined threshold regarding the corresponding point, and it changes the scale display method according to their comparison result.
