A device and maintaining the balance of an interval between rolls of a compact machine is provided. According to the present invention, the present invention includes a compact machine including a fixed roll and a floating roll which maintains predetermined intervals between firs end portions and second end portions; first and second screw feeder which are positioned on the top of the compact machine at a predetermined interval and which supply materials to the first end portions and the second end portions of the fixed and the floating rolls; a controller which controls each the operation torque of a first inverter of the first screw feeder and a second inverter of the second screw feeder; a reference torque comparing device which compares the torque feed-backed by a driving motor driving the compact machine and the preset reference torque and reduces each operation torque of the first and second inverters, which is controlled by the controller, according to the difference of the feed-backed torque and the reference torque; an interval comparing unit which compares a first interval between the first end portions of the fixed roll and the floating roll and a second interval between the second end portions of the fixed roll and the floating roll and determines whether the difference between the first and second intervals is excessive in comparison with the preset reference difference or not; and an operation torque comparing unit which is connected to the first and second inverters and reduces each operation torque of the first and second inverters according to the difference between the first and second intervals and the preset reference difference if the difference is excessive in comparison with the preset reference difference.
