PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fan motor provided with a heat sink wherein a base plate provided with a motor stator part turning to a fixing part of a fan motor, a fan including a fan hub, and one or more protrusions on a counter fan side of the base plate are installed, positioning of the fan motor and the heat sink is facilitated, and fixing strength can be improved. SOLUTION: In this fan motor provided with a heat sink, the protrusions are installed on the base plate 10 of the fan motor, and engaged with the heat sink 20 in which holes are formed at the positions facing the protrusions. The engaging parts are fixed by welding, caulking, vis fastening, etc.
