Disclosed are a method for installing blades for a wind power turbine and a robot for installing the blades applied to the same. The robot for installing blades according to an embodiment of the present invention includes a blade gripper which grips blades to be installed on a hub of a rotator; a robot frame which is joined to a tower supporting a load in an axial direction of the rotor to be detached; and a relative position adjusting unit which adjusts the relative position of the blade gripper in respect to the robot frame.
