PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce manufacturing costs of a detector by enhancing an X-ray quantum efficiency of the detector and eliminating the need for setting a post patient collimator in front of a detector array. SOLUTION: The detector (18) has a plurality of photo detectors (54) and a plurality of scintillator elements (50) optically coupled to the plurality of photo detectors. The scintillator element has a side face separated via a gap (52) from the adjacent scintillator element. An injection reflector mixture is set to the gap between side faces of the scintillator elements. The injection reflector mixture includes a first powder substance having a higher Z and a higher density than those of titanium oxide and a refractive index enough to effectively scatter and reflect light inside the mixture.
