The present invention relates to a pre-bonding apparatus for bonding components such as FPCB, TAB, drive IC, etc. to a flexible display panel by thermo-compression, which is designed for higher preciseness and satisfies the requirements of a component alignment method for flexible display panels which cannot be aligned and the requirements of high-speed motion for productivity improvement. The pre-bonding apparatus for a flexible display panel comprises a pre-bonding module for thermo-compressing a display panel and an object component; a z-axis position controller connected to the pre-bonding module to control the up-and-down movements of the pre-bonding module; a y-axis position controller connected to the z-axis position controller and including a y-axis linear motor for controlling the back-and-forth movements of the pre-bonding module; and an x-axis position controller connected to the y-axis position controller and including an x-axis linear motor for controlling the right-and-left movements of the pre-bonding module.
