PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a wave guide dielectric filter which is a small size and the loss of which is reduced. SOLUTION: Input-output electrodes 13 and 23 and ground electrodes 15 and 25 are formed to rectangular-parallelopiped dielectrics 11 and 21, and stepped sections 17 and 27 or tapers are formed along one sides of the dielectrics. Since there are the two modes of resonance in each dielectric, the dielectrics are connected by the exposed sections 19 of the dielectrics on joint surfaces.
