The present invention relates to a transaction target content management system, a method thereof, and a recording medium for storing a program to perform the same. The system includes: a developer terminal for sending content data including the name and the distribution properties of transaction target content; and a content transaction device for applying preset distribution property identification data to the name of the content depending on the distribution properties, posting the transaction target content, processing the payment upon a request from a user terminal which requests the purchase of the transaction target content, and storing the transaction target content under the name of the content including the distribution property identification data in the user terminal. By doing so, the distribution properties of digital content, such as applications and video clips, can be identified from the name of the content, helping users buy the content.
