An advertisement system using a QR code and a method thereof are disclosed. The advertisement system of the present invention includes: a smartphone which recognizes a QR code, receives and plays an advertisement video and transmits user information having a smartphone number or an email address and advertisement video information for accumulating a point when the play of the advertisement video is completed; a point providing server which receives the user information and advertisement information from the smartphone, automatically generates an account of the received user information and accumulates the point; and an advertisement link providing server which stores the received advertisement video information by the automatically generated account, classifies and calculates a category of the advertisement video information by account and provides a text message or an email having link information for the advertisement video in a category which has the highest preference of the user among the calculated categories to the smartphone, wherein the advertisement video information can comprise information about advertising company, product name/service name and information about category of product/service of advertisement video.
