<p>The present invention relates to a system and method for controlling the dimming of an LED tunnel light that may control the luminescence of the inside of a tunnel in proportion to a change in the luminescence outside the tunnel. The system for controlling the dimming of the LED tunnel light according to the present invention is connected to a luminescence sensor and an LED tunnel light and controls the illumination of the LED tunnel light according to the current outside luminescence value sensed by the luminescence sensor. The system for controlling the dimming of the LED tunnel light includes: a storage unit storing a dimming control map that matches a representative outside luminescence value with a tunnel light dimming value of the LED tunnel light at the representative outside luminescence value; a control unit applying the current outside luminescence value to the dimming control map to extract two representative outside luminescence values adjacent to the current outside luminescence value and two tunnel light dimming values corresponding to the two representative outside luminescence values, and applying the current outside luminescence value, the two representative outside luminescence values and the two tunnel light dimming values to an interpolation technique to calculate the current tunnel light dimming value; and a dimming control unit controlling the illumination of the LED tunnel light in response to the current tunnel light dimming value.</p> |
