CONTROL SIGNALING APPROACHES FOR TERMINALS WITH REDUCED DOWNLINK BANDWIDTH

There are provided measures for realizing control signaling approaches for terminals with reduced downlink bandwidth, such as for example machine type communication terminals for wireless communication systems. Such measures may exemplarily comprise, at a terminal side, monitoring different resource chunks in a sub-band of a downlink carrier bandwidth for common control signaling and dedicated downlink data from a network equipment and, at a network side, scheduling common control signaling and dedicated downlink data for at least one terminal in different resource chunks in the sub-band of the downlink carrier bandwidth.
