Poles (5a, 5b, 5c) of a brush device (5) are respectively provided with: annular slip rings (6a, 6b, 6c) which are fixed to a rotational shaft (4), and which are capable of rotating with the rotational shaft (4); brushes (7a, 7b, 7c) provided so as to be in contact with each of the slip rings (6a, 6b, 6c); and annular brush-fixing members (8a, 8b, 8c) with which the brushes (7a, 7b, 7c) are fixed. The brush-fixing members (8a, 8b, 8c) are respectively provided with circular holes (10a, 10b, 10c) into which the rotational shaft (4) is inserted. Gaps (11a, 11b, 11c) are configured between the rotational shaft (4) and each of the brush-fixing members (8a, 8b, 8c). The area of each of the gaps (11a, 11b, 11c) decreases in the given order.
