[Problem] To provide a device and method for forming a partial anodic oxidation film on a portion of an outer peripheral surface of a section comprising a modified cross sectional shape. [Solution] Provided is a partial anodic oxidation device for a section comprising a modified cross sectional shape, said partial anodic oxidation device being characterized in that an electrolysis cell is separated into two or more cell parts, and the section is sandwiched by the two or more cell parts to form a sealed electrolysis chamber, said section being sandwiched such that a portion thereof is located outside the cell.
