<p>A liquid crystal display device includes a backlight unit, a liquid crystal panel, a first brightness increasing film, and a second brightness increasing film. The backlight unit upwardly emits light. The liquid crystal panel is arranged on the upper side of the backlight unit, receives the light, and displays an image by using liquid crystal properties. The first brightness increasing film is arranged between the backlight unit and the liquid crystal panel and increases brightness through a first prism part which is formed in an x axis direction. The second brightness increasing film is arranged between the backlight unit and the first brightness increasing film and increases the brightness through a second prism part which is formed in a y axis direction. The refractive index of the second brightness increasing film is higher than the refractive index of the first brightness increasing film.</p> |
