The invention relates to a choke device having a plurality of choke windings (8a) which are arranged on a common magnetic core (10) and are connected in an electrically conductive manner in parallel to one another by means of a common connection (13a) at one end of the choke windings (8a). The choke windings (8a) are formed by a one-piece coil former (15) arranged on the common magnetic core (10a) and comprising the common connection (13) of the choke windings (8a), wherein the choke windings (8a) are wound about their common connection (13a) and the common magnetic core (10a).
