Embodiments of the present invention provide a method and an apparatus for implementing mobile broadband device service. The method includes the following steps: a host, according to the rules set on the host or calling the application program interface of the Web server on the mobile broadband device, obtains the service information of the mobile broadband device; if the corresponding functions of the host are needed to be used when implementing the mobile broadband device service corresponding to the service information, the host calls the application program interface provided by the host operation system to execute the corresponding functions of the host and to implement the mobile broadband device service.
