<p>The purpose of the invention is to provide a rotating electric machine that is easy to maintain and is designed to prevent electrolytic corrosion of the bearings by passing circulating current, which is caused by magnetic imbalance particularly around rotor shafts and which, in the past, flowed in the bearings at the two ends of the shaft, to a path that excludes the bearings. The rotating electric machine provided with a shaft, a rotor that is rotated as a result of rotation of the shaft, a housing having the rotor and a stator therein, and bearings for supporting the shaft to rotate freely, is configured so that a current path, in which flows the induced electric current generated by the magnetic flux around the shaft becoming unbalanced, is formed without providing a brush on the shaft and as a result of the current path, the induced electric current does not flow in the bearings.</p> |
