PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stepping motor controller that relieves a software processing load required for stepping drive control for a motor. SOLUTION: In the stepping motor controller, a synchronizing signal, which is set to a multiple of N of one line of an image, is outputted to a CPU. The CPU controls a motor on the basis of the synchronizing signal. The motor generates N-sets of trigger signals on the basis of the synchronizing signal and the stepping drive of the motor is controlled on the basis of the trigger signals. Furthermore, the stepping motor controller has a synchronous mode that is suitable for motor stop and restart and an asynchronous mode that is not synchronously with the synchronizing signal so as to relieve the load of the software processing and realize motor control equivalent to one line interruption at a high speed reading. |
