PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a space holding band with which wiring materials such as cable and the like are easily hung to always keepe a constant distance from the wiring materials such as a string wire and the like and improve the workability. SOLUTION: The space holding band is constituted of a pair of locking holes 4a, 4b opened in a strip-like band body 1 separated from each other by a predetermined distance and through which tip parts 3a, 3b can pass respectively, an engaging part 9 which is formed on each side surface of both sides of the band body 1 (1a), 1 (1b) holding both locking holes 4a, 4b between the engaging parts 9, and an engaging part 7a which blocks coming-out of the band body 1 which is mutually engaged with engaging part 9 and inserted into the inside surfaces 5, 6 of each locking hole 4a, 4b facing the engaging parts 9, respectively.
