PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for detecting the omission of data and for restoring the omitted data and a system for the same in a radio communication system. SOLUTION: Each data frame has a field 44 for storing a data sequence identification code indicating a sequence number of the data frame. On receiving a data frame, a radio signal receiving device checks whether or not the data sequence identification code of the received data frame is continuous from the data sequence identification code of the data frame received before this data frame, thereby determining whether or not the omission of the data is generated. Upon determining that the omission of the data is generated, the radio signal receiving device warms the user about the generating of the data omission by generating an alarm signal from an alarm signal generating device equipped in itself, or sends a re-transmission request signal to a transmission terminal to request the terminal to re-transmit the data.
