<p>The present invention relates to the technical field of communications. Disclosed are a multi-mode base station and an implementation method thereof. In the method, the multi-mode base station at least integrates a first baseband unit BBU0 and a second base station unit BBU1, and the BBU0 and the BBU1 respectively have at least one mode of board being laminated therein; the board in the BBU0 and the board in the BBU1 are respectively connected to a common-mode radio frequency module through a CPRI. The method comprises: a board in a BBU implementing, by using a synchronous Ethernet clock output by a board in a BBU0, frequency synchronization of a system clock of a board in a BBU1 and a system clock of the board in the BBU0; the board in the BBU1 implementing, by using an IEEE1588 clock output by the board in the BBU0, time synchronization of the system clock of the board in the BBU1 and the system clock of the board in the BBU0. The present invention enables a multi-mode base station to support more modes.</p> |
