<p>Disclosed are a method and device for achieving load balancing. The method comprises: a first AP determining other APs used for load sharing when data from an STA accessing the first AP need to be sent, and sending data to be split to the other APs. When the wireless network state in which a wireless AP of a MiFI or Eufi product is located is poor or the load is large, the technique of the present invention for achieving load balancing can split the data from an STA to one or more APs and send same to the Internet with the aid of other APs in the same ESS. Therefore, when the data amount from the STA accessing the wireless AP is too large, it will not cause the load of the wireless AP to be excessively high, or the state of the 3G/4G wireless connection network in which the wireless AP is located to be degraded, or even the performance thereof to be reduced. In addition, by load balancing, the user experience of an STA for using the wireless network also can be improved while the utilization rate of each wireless AP in the same ESS is improved.</p> |
