PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composite sheet excellent in chemical resistance and heat resistance and having excellent barrier properties against steam and oxygen. SOLUTION: The barrier composite sheet is formed by successively coating at least one surface of a base material sheet with an undercoating layer for enhancing the adhesion of an inorganic thin film layer and the inorganic thin film layer having barrier properties against steam and oxygen. As the base material sheet, a sheet used is formed by crosslinking a (meth)acrylate (a) having two functional groups represented by formula (1) (wherein R<1> and R<2> may be mutually different and each is a hydrogen atom or a methyl group, the reference character (a) is 1 or 2 and (b) is 0 or 1), or a composite composition containing the (meth)acrylate and 30-90 wt.% of silica fine particles (b) with a mean particle size of 1-100 nm with active energy beam and molding the crosslinked one. An epoxy resin is used in the undercoating layer and a fluorine type surfactant is added to the epoxy resin in order to enhance the wettability of the epoxy resin with the base material sheet. Silicon oxide excellent in steam and oxygen barrier properties is used in the inorganic thin film layer.
