The present invention relates to a system and method for controlling an AVN device for a vehicle using NFC. The purpose of the present invention is to control settings of an audio part of an AVN device in a portable terminal device through the recognition of an NFC tag between a vehicle AVN device and a user portable terminal device, to perform Bluetooth pairing for transceiving massive data between the AVN device and the terminal device, and to enable a user to easily control a navigation part by delivering position information to the navigation part through the recognition of the NFC tag between the vehicle AVN device and the user portable terminal device. The present invention includes a portable terminal device controlling the AVN device by transceiving information about navigation position information settings and audio settings with the AVN device and the AVN device transceiving at least one among the information about navigation position information settings and audio settings, searching for a destination according to the position information when the information is received, and performing audio settings according to the audio setting information when the audio setting information is received.
