PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a ballpoint pen for painting and writing which has good usability and does not generate outgas in the space environment. SOLUTION: The ballpoint pen consists of a first main body 1 having a cartridge type pen point at its forward end into which a syringe 20b is inserted, a metal spacer 3 to be inserted into the syringe 20b, and a second main body 2 adapted for threaded engagement with the rear end of the main body 1 into which an exothermic agent 5 can be fed, and which has a lid 6 to prevent the agent from flowing out.
